BioWell, my name is Emily and I live in South Shields in the north east of England although pretty much everyone on my flist knows me in "real life" so I probably didn't need to say that part!
I'm 19 and have just come back from a year of teaching English in Chile which has completely changed my life and outlook on the future - I've got lots of decision making to do! I met some amazing people there, and left my heart there too, as well as my human-sized dog Eddie (he's a dogo argentino / argentinian mastiff and is apparently illegal in the UK and Australia) and random items of clothing. I'll be heading back over in January/February for another 7 months after which I'll hopefully be raring to start university - Japanese and Spanish (and possibly Portuguese) at Sheffield.
I'm a total nerd. Languages amaze me, and I'm a total band geek that plays clarinet, saxophone, oboe, bassoon, flute and piano... but would also LOVE to learn the guitar or the bass. I love to read and have worked part-time in libraries since 2005. I've just got a job in Asda and will hopefully be doing the night shift because my main aim in life at the moment is to SAVE SAVE SAVE for my return to Chile.
My LJ is usually full of whinings and José-related sagas so apologies for any boredom induced by reading.
