I got my letter from ProjectTrust today.
I... am...
GOING TO CHILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's right kids... I got accepted... Chile as my almost definite, followed by Dominican Republic then Thailand. So as of August, I'll be living in Chile for a year. I'm actually in 2 mins as to whether to even accept the place... do I dare?!
So if I do... now to raise £4000! Any ideas? All help and ideas welcome!!

I took my driving theory at 9am this morning. I got 35/35 and 68/75. Rather chuffled with that. AND out of the 10 people in the room doing it, I was the first one finished (and that includes an ADI guy too!). There was only one other person who looked my age-ish... he smiled at me a few times. He was quite tasty.
So I wandered round Sunderland for a little while. I had a Raspberry Frescato and a macaroon in Costa and sat and read my book for about half an hour. Then I wandered a bit more, went to H&M and bought myself a black and white stripy hoody (although I think I might prefer the green and grey one now) and a thin black hoody for Vicky. Then I strolled on up to Park Lane and bus'd it home. I would've had 3rd lesson free anyway, as well as all afternoon, so there was no point in trying to go to school if I wouldn't have got there until after 11.
Madness.

Well it's definitely been a little while since I've done a full on lengthy, meaty entry...
So after my visit to the doctors on Feb 1st I went back the following Thursday and saw the other doctor... and I had PNEUMONIA. Bit of a shock to the ol' system there. Apparently it wasn't the normal 'rush to hospital and die' pneumonia but an 'atypical strain' which is like a really really severe chest infection... explains the not being able to breathe! So I was given MORE antibiotics and a new inhaler and told if it wasn't better in a week's time to go back and I'd have to have a chest xray. Well a week past, and I was mainly better, but I still rattle a lot when I breathe. But I've not gone back. Then the surgery phoned me on Monday and gave me an appointment at the asthma clinic yesterday. My lung output thing is 360 and it should be about 462. At first the lady was saying it was only a little bit down but her outlook got worse and worse... =S We also worked out I was 'very' allergic to... life! Dogs, cats, rabbits, other furry things (incl. coats), dust, grass, pollen, perfume and other smelly things, sprays.... etc! I never really realised before. Apparently its mainly exercise triggered asthma too... and I'm being given ANOTHER inhaler. So I'll have gone from having a single inhaler that I just take every now and then when I'm bad to having an inhaler I have to take two puffs twice a day, one that I have to take one puff twice a day AND my every now and again one. Jeeeeez.
In other news... it was my birthday last week. I'm now officially a legal driver! I've had two 'proper' lessons (Monday and Thursday)... dead proud. can do gears without looking at all. Went 40mph+ in my first lesson (broke the coast road speed limit baby!). First lesson I drove along the coast road and back a couple of times including the big pirate ship roundabout and the little one at the bottom of Marsden bank and then home. Second lesson I drove from my house to the VERY end of the coast road... in Seaburn/wherever... where you turn right to go to Sunderland? Then back (through Whitburn), along the coast, right at the Pirate Ship roundabout, along the beach (SPEEDBUMPS!!) along past the fair, back on myself and up the bank then along the top of the dragon. Did that circuit 3 times before going RIGHT up the park bank, turned left and along (SQUEEZED between a bus and a parked camper van!) then past the new estate and home. Fun fun fun. I love it actually. First lesson it was PITCH BLACK AND PISSING DOWN... I was just thinking 'WONDERFUL *scowl*' although it did mean I learnt about headlights and windscreen wipers straight away! Then mainbeams last night! Love love love it. Vicky INSURED ME on blo0ple last week... INSURED ME. It's the sweetest thing in the world, but I just feel so bad about how much it costs! And every month too! Its like a super huge ongoing birthday present (which I can only get to once a monthish *scowl*). But they're (Vicky and Jimmy) coming up on the 11th for the day which means I get to drive too! Naturally, that's the ONLY reason I want to see them, I'm just using them for their car!
My birthday was last Sunday... I was at Batley regional for it. Took Emma along too. Which was cool... except we had to get up at FIVE THIRTY... and after going to bed at 1.30ish... it wasn't the funnest thing in the world! Emma said it was 'better than she expected'. Oh and I DROVE. Vicky took me up to the car park behind the hall and I drove around... yay! It was so fun! The Losi didn't go so well, but I got my shell... yay.

My birthday tomorrow. And Rachie Alexander's. Yay, I always did love having a birthday twin actually. It was just fun!
So I'm going for a meal at the Storybook in Boldon tonight with Emma, Hannah, Loren, Kathryn (twins), Megan, Julie and Claire... I was going to have a kitchen floor party but figured I'd prefer to have people throw up in the pub rather than on my floor should they drink too much (heaven forbid!). Emma's staying the night and then COMING TO BATLEY tomorrow. Notice the capitals... this'll be the first time in the 6 years that I've known Emma that she's come racing with me. AND it's a full day regional... AND its in Batley... near Leeds. AND we have to get up at 5.30am! 5.30am on my birthday... SHEESHK.
I got a card off Faye and a card off Christine (the staff manager really) this morning at work. No one else really knew. I can't believe I'm SEVENTEEN tomorrow. Its a big number. But I'm only a little girl. Whinge.
Room to tidy.

PS How sad is this - I'm not getting ANY presents off any family members tomorrow. =( Since I'm getting the laptop in a few weeks (£250 from my GCSE results, £150 of parental birthday money and the rest (£150ish) from me)... and Gran and Uncle Robin have given me money. Then what Andrew's ordered hasn't come (I don't think).... I'm not getting ANYTHING to open tomorrow morning. *sigh* Except Emma's... but she wants me to open them tonight! Whinge.

Its 9.40... I'm sat on the computer at work. I'm on my own. And no customers have been in yet... Whinge. Clare's in but she's downstairs tidying or something. I'm doing constructive things... honest.
Buying a taper from Jump on my break. Yay. Just 10G. Think I'll ask the guy to give me the next one up from my bar. Might have to go to NC for a bassoon book too. Whinge. Bassoon exam on February 2nd... OBOE EXAM AT END OF FEBRUARY. Yep, that's right. They told me yesterday I'm doing grade 3... I thought they meant July, June at the earliest. Oh no... end of Feb. Was meant to be Feb 6th but that fell through. FEB SIXTH?! So it should take approximately 3 years to get there... I'm at about 3 MONTHS. HELP ME. Have to say I'm quite scared like. Of the bassoon too... since I'm no where NEAR ready. Normally I know my pieces off by heart... I don't even know what they SOUND like at the moment. Eep.AND my mocks start on the 30th of January. Another Biology failing I'd guess. I got 57% in my last test... a C. Better than the D I guess. AND I only got 2 down arrows instead of 3. Although it was 4th in the class (including repeater kiddies) so I don't feel too bad. I'll get better... I will I will.

Well I HAD written a big Emily-life update post complete with pictures. And Andrew deleted it. Ta bro. Much appreciated.
I'm tired so for now we have a resolution list... tradition innit...
* lose weight - again. Last year at this time I was 14st3ish I think... now I'm about 13st7 (before the xmas pig fest) although I was down to 12st9 in June. My target for now is 12st. So that's 1st7 to lose. I'm starting back on the slimfast properly on Thursday, as soon as I start school.
* let go of him - I thought I'd got over Mr Robinson earlier in the year and I quite clearly hadn't. And even when he's horrible to me I still keep running back and trying to apologise for HIM being a twatt. Doormat behaviour is stopping. It's official.
* be true to myself - I know it sounds soppy and clichéed but there was a time last year when I was messing around with THREE different people at the same time. One I just liked because he liked me. This year I need to like people.
* DO SOME WORK - I really need to start school working or I'm going to die.
* go to bed earlier - ie In bed / off PC before 11.30. Every school night. Off PC before 00.15 on work nights.
* stop calling them 'the twins' - The twins decided they don't like being called 'the twins'... SO... i'm going to make a proper effort to call them LOREN and KATHRYN... i promised them i would.
They'll do... for now.
